MantisOps Complete

Last updated October 2026 · Applies to accounts with MantisRMM, Mantis360 and MantisNMS

What you get when MantisRMM, Mantis360 and MantisNMS run on one account: one agent, one alert inbox, one list of devices, and device pages that show what the other products see.

Overview

MantisOps Complete is MantisRMM, Mantis360 and MantisNMS on one account. Each product keeps its own console, and the Customer Portal (portal.mantisops.net) ties them together. Most of what this page describes also works when your account has two of the three products; each feature uses whichever products you have.

One Agent

You install the MantisOps agent once per endpoint. It runs a module for each product your subscription includes: MantisRMM management, Mantis360 security posture, and MantisNMS host metrics. The agent checks your subscription itself and starts or stops modules to match, so adding a product later needs no reinstall. The same enrollment code enrolls the endpoint into every product on your account.

The MantisNMS module runs only while Endpoint monitoring in MantisNMS is on (see The Complete Trial), because each monitored endpoint counts toward your NMS sensors.

ℹ️Install commands, mass deployment and troubleshooting are in Installing the MantisOps Agent.

Alerts Inbox

Customer Portal → Alerts is one list of what needs attention across your products:

The list is sorted by severity, then newest first. Use the All open, Needs attention and Acknowledged tabs, filter by product, severity, company or site, or search alerts and devices. Open in RMM, Open in NMS or Open in 360 takes you to the alert in its product.

Acknowledge and update from the inbox

What you do in the inbox happens in the product itself — it's the same action as on the product's own page, and it shows there straight away. Each row offers only what its product supports:

ProductActionsNotes
MantisRMMAcknowledgeAn acknowledged alert leaves the list, as it does in RMM. Alerts resolve on their own when the metric recovers.
MantisNMSAcknowledge, UnacknowledgeAcknowledged incidents move to the Acknowledged tab. Incidents close on their own when the device recovers.
Mantis360Mark in progress, Mark remediated, Accept risk…, Mark false positive…, Move back to openIn progress counts as acknowledged. Accept risk and Mark false positive ask for a reason and a review date (90 days by default); the finding reopens when the date passes.

Select several rows to act on them at once. Keyboard shortcuts: J / K move, X selects, A acknowledges, O opens.

Who sees what

Every Portal user has the Alerts page, but each product decides what to list for the person who is signed in. You see only the alerts your role can see in that product, for the companies and sites you have access to (and, in MantisRMM, your device groups). Acting on an alert needs the same permission it needs in the product. If a product doesn't answer, the page says the list may be incomplete instead of silently leaving its alerts out.

Devices

Customer Portal → Devices lists every device MantisRMM, Mantis360 and MantisNMS know about, matched into one row per physical device. Each row shows the device's company and what each product knows: its RMM agent and whether it's online, its Mantis360 risk score, its MantisNMS status, and how the records were matched.

The page is read-only: you still manage each device in its product.

Network & Endpoint Cards

When the same machine is in MantisRMM and MantisNMS, each product's device page shows what the other sees.

Network card (MantisRMM device page)

On a device's overview in MantisRMM, the Across MantisOps band shows the device as Mantis360 and MantisNMS see it. Its Network card lists the MantisNMS sensors that watch the machine, with their state (up, warning, down or paused) and latency, and the switch port the machine is plugged into when MantisNMS knows it. Each sensor opens in MantisNMS. If MantisNMS doesn't watch the device yet, the card says so and explains how to add it.

Endpoint card (MantisNMS device and sensor details)

In MantisNMS, the Endpoint card shows the MantisRMM agent on that machine: online or offline, last check-in, operating system and health score, with links to Open device, Remote desktop, Terminal and Run script. These are links into MantisRMM — nothing runs from MantisNMS — and MantisRMM applies its own sign-in, permissions and checks.

Both cards use the same matching rules, so they always agree: the agent's own host sensor first, then a MAC address MantisNMS learned on a switch port, then the machine's LAN IP address, then a unique hostname. When two agents match equally well, neither card guesses. Both respect your company access: you never see an agent or sensor from a company outside it.

The Complete Trial

Start a Complete trial at mantisops.net/get-started?product=both. It sets up MantisRMM, Mantis360 and MantisNMS on one account.

When the trial is activated, Endpoint monitoring in MantisNMS is turned on for you, so your agents run their MantisNMS module too. Every computer running the agent then reports to MantisNMS as a host sensor — CPU, memory, disks, uptime, services and recent events, updated every minute — so your endpoints sit alongside your network devices in MantisNMS dashboards, maps and alerts.

⚠️Endpoints count toward your NMS sensor limit. Each endpoint counts the same way a monitored server does: uptime, CPU and memory, plus one per disk. To turn it off, the account owner or an administrator goes to Customer Portal → Settings → Endpoint monitoring in MantisNMS. Endpoints stop reporting within a few minutes and stop counting toward your sensors.

If someone on your account already turned the setting on or off, activation keeps that choice. Trials of a single product leave endpoint monitoring off.

Company Logos

Give each company its own logo so it's easy to spot in the company switcher of MantisRMM, Mantis360 and MantisNMS:

  1. In the Customer Portal, go to Companies.
  2. Open the company's menu and choose Branding….
  3. Click Upload and pick a PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP or SVG image, then click Save Branding.

The logo then appears next to the company in each product's company switcher, on its MantisRMM agent's on-screen notifications and on its Mantis360 reports. Companies without a logo show a colored dot.
